What Goals Are For
Goals answer the question: where is all this supposed to lead?
They should not exist as motivational wallpaper. They should shape execution.
That means a real goal system must connect to:
- active projects
- milestones
- due dates
- progress signals
- commitments in the real world
The Product Role
Goals give the rest of FleetCrown directional pressure.
Without them, the system can still optimize locally, but it cannot tell whether the work being done is moving the user toward the right outcomes.
What Success Looks Like
Goals succeed when they influence prioritization downstream. If goals do not change what gets worked on, they are decorative.
